We hear a shuddering sound coming from our bathroom pipes while we are in our bedroom at night. What could it be?
More than likely it is your fill valve in the toilet. You could put a few drops of dark colored food coloring in the center of the tank and wait 30 seconds and see if it shows up in the bowl. If it does you need to replace the flapper first. Then check again. Make sure water is not going into the overflow pipe. If this does not fix it call us.

Accurate my garbage disposer is not working can you help me?
Can you be more specific? Does it hum? Check your electrical panel, see if fuse or breaker is okay. Then on the unit itself you will find a little red reset button, push it in, try it again. If the unit is humming but not spinning make sure you shut unit off. Place a plunger or broom handle into unit and try to free the blades up. I hope this has been of some help.

We have a small leak in our water line is this something to be worried about? How do we shut it down?
There should be a shut off valve located where the water line enters the home, or in the furnace room or by the water heater. If we were your plumber you wouldn't have to ask we would tag it for you at no charge. It is a service we provide to our POM customers.
In the front of your house if older there is a stop box and a meter base. In newer homes you will find a shut off for your home in the meter base. Hope this helps if not give us a call. Whatever you decide don't let a leak even a small one go unattended. Water damage to structure, mold not to mention plumbing could be hundreds of times more expensive than the simple repair. The sooner it's repaired the better.

Your men would not get up on my roof and clear my drain but (Bubba) did, why?
The risk was too high. You were informed of a needed clean out but declined. Because of insurance and mainly the safety of our technicians, we will not unstop a drain from a roof vent if we feel threatened. (I've heard of too many stories that went bad, it's not worth a life, period).

We are experiencing low water pressure, why?
How long has this been going on? Do local utilites have a damaged main? Are your neighbors experiencing the same thing? What type of pipes do you have? Is there rust in the water? The whole house or at a fixture? If at a fixture check the valves and make sure they are open and the aerators are clean. If water is conditioned the water softener could be the source. If filtered water check the filter. More information is needed if this doesn't help, give us a call.
